The Unexpected Burst of Love Just When You Have Given Up on Us

Don’t you always start off from that stance? You always start off, to the dance, the last dance. Don’t you always start off from the same stance? Don’t you always end up somewhere interesting? So don’t be so afraid, of the stuck and predictable place of you. It’s some kind of home stance, there’s nothing wrong with it.
A stance you know, powerful, standing pose. Just before motion takes you over. And there’s always something new and unexpected that pushes through once you accept it.
There’s always something unexpected. There’s always something unexpected, though you try to be prepared for all that could arise in you. There’s always something unexpected, that shows its face in the door. And you always let it in, you always let it in, to your credit.
You always let it in, like now, sooner or later. Sometimes you leave it standing in the hall, but sooner or later you let her in.
This is where you’ve been before, you know the familiar closeness of it all. You know the stance. The stance that you’ve been taking. And you fear that you’ve been faking. That’s all right. A little bit of faking is all right.
We do love our human hearts just as they are. Full of riddles, full of cowardice at times. And unexpected bursts of love, just when you’ve given up on all us. Unexpected bursts of love, just when you have given up on all of us.
We are like children. You can never predict what comes next.
