Pen Club

When we all lived in Berlin I used to meet up with my artist friends Kathy Kwon, Sara Kwon and Molly Morgan for Pen Club.

Pen Club means meeting at a cafe with a notebook and drawing while chatting. My friends and I each had a portable, ample sack of supplies including but not limited to pens, crayons, white out, pastels, pencils, craft tape, and more.

We would get into long, dreamy conversations in dim lighting (somehow the lighting in Berlin is always romantically, smokily dim) while bent over our notebooks drinking fresh ginger tea.

My invitation to you: meet with some artfriendly friends somewhere atmospheric and bring your notebooks. While catching up, allow yourselves to be completely absorbed in your own drawings/doodles. See how being in that dreamy state changes how you may connect. Enjoy hanging out together in creative flow state.
